Gigs Played

  • March 2004, Bowhouse Community Centre - This was our first ever gig, and it went reeli well. We only had three songs so we werent even on for ten minutes....We supported 4 Hour Shut Up who came all the way down from Newcastle to play for Annas b'day. And they were f*ckin awesome!
  • May 2004, Grangemouth Rugby Club - The rugby club was havin an open day, and our dear chums Cause 4 Concern were playing at it, and asked if we would like to play too. It was our first gig together lol. They played reeli gid! and we had a laugh. But we still only had the three songs.
  • June 2004, Falkirk Town Hall - This was our biggest gig yet, and our first in a line of gigs with the Rock The Talk project. We were really really nervous because of the big stage, the big audience, and the lack of friendly faces in the audience. The gig itself was great. Most people were so surprised to see an all female rock band.
  • September 2004, Moray Primary School - Yet another open day (BB's this time) that Cause 4 Concern managed to get us a gig at. Both bands played well, and we had a laugh, but the audience didnt really take much interest. We introduced two new songs.
  • September 2004, Grangemouth Town Hall - Another gig that we played with the Rock The Talk project. We werent as nervous as we had been at the last RTT gig, because it was at our home town, and we had experience from the last one.  The gig was amazing, probably due to the fact that there were so many familiar faces in the crowd. However, the gig didnt go without its flaws...the sound people screwed us over pretty bad when they turned Kats mic off for the first few songs. Special mention goes out to Will2Live who were amazin and got the crowd rockin.
  • October 2004, Rialtos Bar, Falkirk - Thanks to Emmas big cousin we managed to get a gig at Rialtos on hallowe'en. Because of the occasion we decided to dress up. Kat was a kinky nurse, Steph a pirate, Anna a cat and Emma a bunny. We had a really good time and played well, and got a bit tipsy afterwards but shh...
  • November 2004, Grangemouth Golf Club - We played here to celebrate Kats mums 40th. We had a great time at the party...but we played so bad!! (due to ...eh...unfortunate circumstances..) and it was definetly our worse gig yet. However, it didnt really matter becoz we were amongst friends and Kats family so they just laughed at us lol
  • November 2004, Dalgrain Hall - this was known as "the buckle gig"...because our mate Buckle from Cause 4 Concern had put in alot of effort to set this gig up, and everyone had a great time and a gid laugh. Rush Hour Soul came down all the way from Dundee to play and they were amazin! Then Cause 4 Concern were on and they were reeli gid tae. Then us, then a surprise performance by will2live, but it unfortunately only lasted a few songs.

  • December 2004, Boness Town Hall - Another gig set up by Rock The Talk project. This wasnt exactly our best gig...to be honest none of us were really in the mood that night. However we got asked to play some gigs after it by random people in the audience. And the sound people screwed us over yet again....is it cause were girls?

  • December 26th 2004, Rialtos Bar, Falkirk - Omg...ok in my opinion the first few songs went really bad, probably because of Emma using the wrong pedal, dropping her plec, etc...but the last few songs were played really well. Not as many people were there as last time.

  • January 15th 2005, St Andrews Church Boness - Well, overall this gig was played pretty well, however we have to say the audience were the worst we have ever had...anyhoo, this gig was with The Rising, and it was cool to be in a church =D

  • 8th February 2005, Grangemouth High School - This was when we played on BBC Radio Scotland when Soundtown was situated at our school, we played When a Man Loves a Woman and Money, we played ok but when you listen back to the recording it sounds terrible because there is no distortion on Emmas guitar and it sounds weird.

  • March 5th 2005, Some Hall in Grangemouth - This was Annas bday gig and it wis gr8! Our geordie mates 4 Hour Shut Up, Just Not Cricket and Alans new band (sorry i forgot the name again...) came all the way from geordieland to play for her! Cause 4 Concern also came all the way from round the corner to play too! (even if they were missing a drummer...) All bands played well.

  • March 17th 2005, Braes High School - This was a battle of the bands at the braes. In my opinion, we played great, probably greater than we ever had. We even introduced a new song (Fall Behind Me). However, we came last in the battle. Im guessing were not very popular there... Cause4Concern also played well.

  • March 18th 2005, Grangemouth Town Hall - This was another gig with the project (Ive also heard this is the last gig with the project) in our home town. We played great, and introduced 2 new songs (Spiderbait -Calypso, and Donna Summer - Hot Stuff), we even got knickers thrown at us! Yas!

  • 6th May 2005, Grangemouth Town Hall - We were asked to play a few songs to open up some dance or fashion show...im not quite sure what it was lol. We played ok but the audience was all old people again lol.

  • 8th June 2005, Falkirk Town Hall - We played ok, and Emma and Anna made their debut singing "Hands Down" by Dashboard Confessional accoustic. We planned to play Kick It that night with Kat and Chris singing but Chris couldnt make it. But apart from that we played well.

  • 25th June 2005, The Tolbooth, Stirling - We were invited to play at the tolbooth because it was an all womans convention and we are an all female band, we got to play two songs, Money and Fall Behind Me, to an audience of girls, and we played really well. We also got two other gigs lined up.

  • July 23rd 2005, La Porte Precinct, Grangemouth - This was a radio open air gig set up by BBC Radio Scotland, we got to play alongside The BMX Bandits and a Robbie Williams tribute act, and we played ok. Chris even played Kick It with us :) But the audience werent the best because they were mostly old people from the grangemouth area lol.

  • 4th August 2005, The Albert Halls, Stirling - This was an interesting gig, we got to play with lots of other acts, including rock bands, DJ Rankine and a group of cheerleaders.  This, however, was not one of our best gigs.

  • 16th September 2005, Ivory Blacks, Glasgow - Our first gig in this city, and it was a great night! We played ok in my opinion, got a cd recorded of the night, the other bands were amazing, and there was a bar! yey!

  • 30th September 2005, Jacks Bar, Falkirk - Oh dear...well we played really quite bad, had alot of technical problems, got a terrible review, but other than that it was an amazing night! Emma and Anna did a couple of accoustic songs at the end of the set. The other bands were amazing! well done guys.
